Consonant Vowel Consonant (CVC) Phoneme Frames

This product includes 40 clearly illustrated phoneme frame cards that are ready for you to print and laminate.

They are designed to help children identify initial, medial and final sounds in CVC words.

Each card features a picture of a CVC object. Underneath the picture is a phoneme frame with either the initial, medial, final or all 3 letter sounds missing.

There are 40 different pictures for children to identify in 4 different sets.

The children will need to identify the missing sounds and write them in the space on the phoneme frame. These can then be wiped off and used time and time again. Magnetic letters or similar could also be used. Each card is A4 so they would also be good to use in whole class work or for display purposes too. This is an ideal activity for independent work.
