Each set is colour coded.

Follow Me Cards are a set of cards, which form a loop. The idea is that the cards are given out to the class or group. After the first question is asked, the rest of the children need to look at their card to see if it contains the answer. If it does they shout out the answer and then read the next question. This continues until the child who asked the first question shouts out their answer, when this has happened all the cards should have been used and the loop has been completed.

Follow Me Cards is an excellent activity to use as an oral and mental starter. While it may take some time to do when used for the first time, children enjoy being timed so that the class can try and beat their personal best on subsequent occasions.

Each set has a starter and finisher card. This is particularly useful if you are timing the activity as you will know exactly when to start and finish the timer. If you are not timing the activity it won’t matter which card you start with as the questions will form a loop and always go back to the beginning.

Follow Me Cards can also be used by an individual or a small group to place them in the correct order independently.
