Blank Multiplication Grid

A blank multiplication grid can be used for many mathematical investigations, activities and games. It can be laminated and used as a write-on wipe-off resource. These grids can be placed in the classroom maths resource area or maths resource box and used in independent activities.

Children could pencil in the times tables that they know, colour blue the ones they have to think about and colour red the ones they don't yet know. They could use this as a self assessment tool and set themselves targets as to which ones to learn next.

For older children you could set a challenge as to which individual, pair or group can create the best new game using a blank multiplication grid. You might be surprised at the results!
